Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Zipper app and website. By using Zipper you agree to them. Questions: usezipperai@gmail.com.

The service

Zipper helps businesses organise Instagram direct messages into orders, track payments and see analytics. Features may change as we improve the product.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for your business.
• Keep your sign-in email secure. You're responsible for activity in your account.
• You must have the right to connect the Instagram account you connect.

Using Instagram through Zipper

You must follow Instagram's and Meta's terms and policies, including their messaging rules. Don't use Zipper to send spam or unsolicited messages, or to collect data you're not allowed to collect. AI summaries and suggested replies can be wrong: check them before you rely on them or send them.

Payments you collect

Zipper helps you request payment from your customers but isn't a party to your sales. Payments are handled by Interac e-Transfer, Stripe or other providers under their own terms. If you use Zipper payment links, a fee shown in the app may apply.

AI features

AI features are optional and stay off until you allow them. When on, chat text is processed by our AI provider as described in the privacy policy. You can turn them off in Settings.

Subscription and free trial

• New businesses get a one-month free trial, once per Instagram account and once per Apple Account.
• Zipper is an auto-renewing subscription, either monthly at US$19.99 (CA$19.99 in Canada) or yearly at US$199 (CA$199 in Canada). The price shown in the app before you subscribe is the one that applies. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
• One subscription covers one business, including the teammates you invite to it. Teammates don't need their own subscription.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. Deleting your Zipper account doesn't cancel it.
• Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Your data

You own your business data. We use it only to provide Zipper, as described in our privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop using Zipper and delete your account and data at any time in the app, in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.

Disclaimers and liability

Zipper is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that Instagram's services will be. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Zipper is based.
